Amaze facial masque. I die.

I've kind of been obsessed with skincare lately.  Mostly because I'm petrified of wrinkles and am convinced I need Botox already at the ripe old age of 26.  Obviously, I'm not getting Botox (yet).  Thus, I must try less extreme measures like facial masks to help liven up my skin.

Remember that DIY facial mask I told y'all about?  While it did tighten up my skin, it has NOTHING on my latest discovery.  I mean, nothing.  Not to mention the DIY one was so messy and hard to apply.  And if I'm being completely honest, the smell of it kinda made me gag a little.

Soooo, allow me to introduce you to the ...

Queen Helene Mud Pack Masque that I got this weekend from Sally's Beauty Supply:
I washed my face, then used my fingers to blend the masque.  It was a breeze to apply and it tingled a little at first (good tingle).  I thought the "mud" would smell creepy, but it had a very floral scent to it and here is it how it looks as it starts to dry:

About 10 minutes after application, I looked in the mirror and couldn't believe how much it was opening up my pores.  This is gross, but I think it's worth showing so you can see how well it cleanses your skin.  I cannot believe I'm posting this picture to the world. Please still love me.
See what I mean?  Opens your pores up like woah!
I just want you to know that after using this mask my skin was refreshed and tighter, my pores seemed smaller and my skin felt super smooth.

Don't walk, but run to Sally's.  Sorry about that oatmeal DIY recommendation.  I had no idea something like this existed.  Smooches bargainistas. XOXO.

  10. I'm lucky to have skin that behaves pretty well. It'll rebel against me one day, though, as I never use sunscreen. Oops!

I love how it tingles while I wear it and leaves my skin tight and clean feeling:) I tried it on my husband and he couldn't handle the tingling, he thought his face was going to melt off. 17. I LOVE Queen Helene. I have been using their Mint Julep mask for years. I'll definitely be giving this one a try! I'm loving that this is just in a big tub so I don't have to worry about trying to squeeze anything out of a tube and then having it go everywhere. But yeah, I'll be trying this (hoping I'll look as gorgeous as you do with it on) and then maybe just maybe I won't want to get Botex anymore... :)

  23. ok, so do the pores get small again? i need to know this because i basically have pores large enough to house small vermin.

BTW-i can't tell you how brave you are for trying a product called "queen helene." i was looking for a hair mask the other day at walmart and all they had was something called "tropic placenta." i'm sorry....no.

  25. Oh yes! I love face masks! I usually use an avocado and oatmeal mask I find at walmar (can't remember the brand) but lately I have been lazy! I really need it now too thanks to the four days at the beach with sunscreen all over my face!! Nasty skin is attacking me now... I must run to Sally's tomorrow!!!

  32. Hi! I would like to open beauty salon. Does anybody have an experience in this business? There are too many options in different salon equipment. Could anybody give me an advise? What store is more reliable to buy Electroporation machine and Microcurrent machine. I'm choosing between Advance-Esthetic and SpaEquipment websites.
