Say what??!!
I immediately turned on CNN and waited for the President's speech, It's so amazing that they caught that bastard and he is dead. [excuse my French] I'm not one for violence, but I want to shake the hand of the man or woman who pulled that trigger. I've been getting chills from the footage of the people at the White House cheering "USA, USA, USA" and singing "God Bless America". God bless our troops and their families, especially those who have suffered from the loss of loved ones.
Sorry, but I couldn't not address this positive, important news.
Now, I'm moving onto to something a little lighter ....
Here is part 2 of the pictures from AZ ... the wedding day! We really couldn't have had better weather and everything went off without a hitch. I hope my wedding day (when I'm 80) goes this smoothly.
We started off with breakfast on the lawn:
Then we got ready. I did my own hair and make-up, this is the finished product (minus lip gloss). Do you notice my freckle in the middle of my upper lip??

The outdoor wedding ceremony. All my friends always say I don't smile walking down the aisle, so this time I made sure I did! I feel like such a freak smiling at all the people, but I gave them my best cheerleader smile.

And that sums up the wedding day festivities, it was a great weekend filled with lots of love.
Ohhh she looks beautiful. I really loooove the colors of the dresses too... And you need to do a tutorial aboit how you did your hair!

I know it's a touchy subject to post politics on a blog, but I appreciate it - especially since I deal with the aftermath of the war everyday at work. Its simply tragic, so it was great news to hear the news this morning.

Purple is my favorite color so of course I think your dress is fabulous but I do have to point out, you are gorgeous! I'm so jealous- especially since you can hang out in hot weather and not melt! I'm so happy you had a great time!

ReplyDeletei get a limp noodle curl that i blow with hair spray for a solid minute that then falls out 30 seconds later.
but on the positive (and by that i mean far less bitter) side - Heck yeah about OBL!
