For the longest I've kept hope alive that a mini snow storm or even a cold front was going to blow in so that my winter attire could come out to play this year, but alas, I've accepted that Spring is on the horizon and winter weather has boycotted Texas. Although I'm not happy about this reality, I am happy about one Spring fashion trend in particular: stripes. Below are some affordable stripes all under $30 from two of my favorite Bargain Blonde approved stores: Old Navy and H&M.
$14.95 - BUY |
Tank: $16.00 / Sweetheart Skinny Jeans: $29.50 |
via Spring Lookbook
Shirt - $19.50 / The Flirt Wide Leg Trouser Jean - $15.97 |
Blue & White Shirt - $26. 50 / Khaki Shorts - $19.94 Side-toe top: $26.94 / Denim Shorts - $24.94 |
What do you think about stripes for Spring? And more importantly, what's your favorite Spring trend so far?
Ooh I love these stripes too! I just bought a navy and white striped dress from Old Navy and am so looking forward to wearing it this spring, such a classic look!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving stripes lately too! great finds & deals :-)
ReplyDeleteLove those outfits!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm SO ready for spring! I thought I was dying running in the freezing cold this morning. Love all of the outfits!

ReplyDeleteP.s - be sure to enter my give away - closes tomorrow!
love love LOVE stripes right now!! I actually bought 3 striped things this week.
ReplyDeleteThat striped skirt from H&M is TO DIE FOR!! Too bad we don't have an H&M here... boo...
I love the stripes and different outfits! Especially the skirt from H&M and the two tops at the bottom from Old Navy! I would totally buy the pink one. I can't wait for Spring.

Oh great looks! And good prices! Love. :)
ReplyDeleteStripes are my absolute fav! And I'm soo excited they're in for spring! I actually did a post about stripes for spring last Friday! http://www.lifeisamayesing.com/
ReplyDeleteI live in DFW too and I feel the same way about the weather. I was really hoping for a mini snow storm! But it could still happen! :)
I love all the outfits, but my fave is the old navy one at the bottom right. Already in my basket to buy :)
ReplyDeleteI love stripes, despite the fact that they're supposed to be terribly unflattering (horizontal ones anyway). My favorite here is the cream & orangey striped button down. CUTE! Unfortunately my boobs are too big for most button down shirts (I'm scared to try them on), though.
ReplyDeleteI'm pissed about the lack of winter, too! I have the cutest plaid wool cape from Anthropologie that I've only gotten to wear a couple times. WHAT'S UP WITH THIS?!?!
oh my I am going to have to hit up old navy this weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI love the first dress and the tribal looking striped shirt at the end! Super cute bargain finds! <3
ReplyDeleteStripes are my fav!! (if not obvious from my post today ha!) That skirt is so adorable. Too bad we don't have an H & M ANYWHERE near... boo!
ReplyDeletei LOVE stripes. and i am loving all the bright, bold colors im seeing in the spring collections... so fun!
ReplyDeleteI really like the stripes! I find that Old navy is either a hit or a miss for me, though...I might need to go and check some of these out in person :)
ReplyDeleteI am in love with stripes. I didn't realize it either til I picked up an $8 shirt from a consignment shop 2 years ago and I never looked back! I never make it over to Old Navy since it's practically at the ghetto mall. I wish they'd bring one out to the other malls closer to me. But there is an H&M so I'll have to go scout and see if I can find some of these babies!
ReplyDeleteI'm sooooo LOVING stripes!!! Love your picks!
ReplyDeletePS - when the heck is H&M going to offer online shopping? Beh.
I just scored some striped maxis at ON for $17/each.
i want that H&M dress...thats so hot.
ReplyDeletethanks for ur great fashion finds..
u ready for ur guest post? cant wait to see what u have!!!
xoxo
Stripes are my favorite. I will continue wearing them, even when I maybe shouldn't if you know what I mean. Long live stripes!
ReplyDeleteThe fact that we had 3 snows last winter & NO winter this year makes me sad! But, if we can't have a winter, bring on the Spring & Summer! I'm loving all of these stripes & will definitely be making a trip to Old Navy this weekend! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love stripes too! Thanks for the ideas...H&M and Old Navy are two of my favorites. I'm going to try to find some super bright stripes for summer!

ALL of these are soooo cute! I love stripes like a whole lot!
ReplyDeleteHope you have had a great week girl!
The two bags I listed for WILW are advertised on your page's ads, and in stripes! It's a sign!
ReplyDeleteI'm a self-diagnosed stripe-a-holic, but I'm also really loving tiny polka dots for this spring. I got the cutest yellow polka dot sheer blouse at LOFT this past weekend & I wore it yesterday...L.O.V.E!
ReplyDeleteWinter (or at least snow) has boycotted Virginia this year too. I saw on the news that Texas had some nasty weather yesterday...hope all is well around you!

Following your blog now! :)
ReplyDeleteWinter weather has skipped over us in Memphis too. I think I've pulled out my coat twice.
love these looks! SO cute! I LOVE stripes!! When I was looking at my "pinned" outfits about half of them involve stripes! haha
ReplyDeleteI looove stripes! Anything remotely nautical looking gets my attention!
ReplyDeleteI think strips makes me look bigger, & I don't need to look bigger than I am. Freakin' love H&M, I would do their visual display, since they don't need a buyer. The red/cream ON shirt, saw it this past week, too cute.

Hey -- just came across your blog from a link from another site -- So glad I found it -- great stuff! The main reason I clicked on the link is because of the name "The Bargain Blonde"... I have my own (new) blog called "The Ginger Penny Pincher," sounds like you are my blonde counterpart! Keep up the good stuff!!!
ReplyDeleteOld Navy has really been stepping it up lately and I'm so impressed. I bought a few things there for Fall, and I'll definitely be adding a few more things from the spring line. Gap has some pretty cute stuff too that goes with the neon trend.
