Stripes for Spring all under $30

I can count on one hand how many times I've had to put a legit coat on this winter and it puts a frown on my face to know those Hunter wellies I was so excited about wearing are perched in my closet with the tags still attached.

For the longest I've kept hope alive that a mini snow storm or even a cold front was going to blow in so that my winter attire could come out to play this year, but alas, I've accepted that Spring is on the horizon and winter weather has boycotted Texas.  Although I'm not happy about this reality, I am happy about one Spring fashion trend in particular: stripes.  Below are some affordable stripes all under $30 from two of my favorite Bargain Blonde approved stores: Old Navy and H&M.

    Ooh I love these stripes too! I just bought a navy and white striped dress from Old Navy and am so looking forward to wearing it this spring, such a classic look!

    I love stripes, despite the fact that they're supposed to be terribly unflattering (horizontal ones anyway). My favorite here is the cream & orangey striped button down. CUTE! Unfortunately my boobs are too big for most button down shirts (I'm scared to try them on), though.

    I'm pissed about the lack of winter, too! I have the cutest plaid wool cape from Anthropologie that I've only gotten to wear a couple times. WHAT'S UP WITH THIS?!?!

    I am in love with stripes. I didn't realize it either til I picked up an $8 shirt from a consignment shop 2 years ago and I never looked back! I never make it over to Old Navy since it's practically at the ghetto mall. I wish they'd bring one out to the other malls closer to me. But there is an H&M so I'll have to go scout and see if I can find some of these babies!

    The fact that we had 3 snows last winter & NO winter this year makes me sad! But, if we can't have a winter, bring on the Spring & Summer! I'm loving all of these stripes & will definitely be making a trip to Old Navy this weekend! Thanks for sharing!

    I'm a self-diagnosed stripe-a-holic, but I'm also really loving tiny polka dots for this spring. I got the cutest yellow polka dot sheer blouse at LOFT this past weekend & I wore it yesterday...L.O.V.E!

    Winter (or at least snow) has boycotted Virginia this year too. I saw on the news that Texas had some nasty weather yesterday...hope all is well around you!

    I think strips makes me look bigger, & I don't need to look bigger than I am. Freakin' love H&M, I would do their visual display, since they don't need a buyer. The red/cream ON shirt, saw it this past week, too cute.

    Old Navy has really been stepping it up lately and I'm so impressed. I bought a few things there for Fall, and I'll definitely be adding a few more things from the spring line. Gap has some pretty cute stuff too that goes with the neon trend.
